How often should I clean my Versa Diffuser?
The frequency of cleaning a diffuser depends on how often you use it. Here's a general recommendation:
Clean the crucible after each use.
Clean the diffuser's interior and crucible weekly.
Disassemble and thoroughly clean the entire diffuser monthly.
Keep in mind that this recommendation is based on average usage. Lighter or heavier users may need to adjust the cleaning schedule based on their experience and usage patterns.

Can I just soak the Versa Diffuser in isopropyl alcohol to clean it?
While most components of the Versa Diffuser can be safely immersed in isopropyl alcohol, the rubber grommet and ceramic Heat Plate should not be soaked.
Soaking the grommet can cause the deterioration of its rubber, reducing its longevity.
Due to the porous nature of the ceramic Heat Plate, it requires a substantial amount of time to thoroughly dry.
Utilizing the Heat Plate with even a minimal amount of moisture can result in damage to the Heat Plate.
What if I’m planning on replacing the heat plate anyway?
In this case simply remove the grommet and soak the rest of the diffuser.
My diffuser needs to be rebuilt, but I can't get it apart! What should I do?
Over time, residues from usage can accumulate and cause parts to stick together.
If the diffuser is still working, carefully reattach it to the Versa device and run a heating cycle. Then, carefully remove the diffuser and disassemble it.
Alternatively, if the diffuser is not working, carefully heat it with a hairdryer to warm the residues and help with disassembly.
